What is conservative force ?

Answer:- A force acting on a particle is said to be conservative if the kinetic energy of the particle remains unchanged for a complete round trip.

State Pascal's law.

Answer:- The Pascal's law states that the pressure exerted at any part of a confined liquid is transmitted equally and undiminished in all directions throughout the liquid.

What is atmospheric pressure ?

Answer:- The weight exerted by vertical  column of all layers of air of atmospheric on unit area of earth's surface is called the atmospheric pressure.

What is Poisson's ratio ?

Answer:- The ratio of lateral strain to longitudinal strain is called the Poisson's ratio.

What is Elasticity ?

Answer:- The property of material of a body by virtue of which the body regains its original undeformed state after removal of deforming force is called elasticity.

How momentum of a system remains conserved ?

Answer:- If external force acting on a system of particles is zero, the total linear momentum of the system remains conserved.

What is the amplitude of particle in SHM ?

Answer:- Amplitude of a particle vibrating in SHM is defined as it's maximum displacement on either side of the mean position.

What is free vibrations ?

Answer:- If a body vibrates without the help of any external periodic force on it, it is said to be excuting free vibrations.

What is restoring force ?

Answer:- Restoring force is a force that try to move the body back to its mean position or equilibrium position.

What is simple pendulum ?

Answer:- It consists of a heavy metallic bob,  suspended from a rigid support by means of a long weightless, flexible and inextensible string.

What is Spring pendulum ?

Answer:- A spring pendulum consists of a heavy mass suspended from a rigid support by means of a massless spring.

What is degree of freedom ?

Answer:- Degree of freedom, of a mechanical system, is defined as the no. of possible independent ways in which the position and configuration of the system may change.

What is resonance in Oscillation ?

Answer:- Resonance is the phenomenon of setting a body into vibrations by a strong periodic force whose frequency  coincides with the natural frequency of the body.

What is Second pendulum ?

Answer:- A simple pendulum having a time period of two second is called a second pendulum.

What is Centrifugal force ?

Answer:- Centrifugal force is the pseudo (imaginary) force which acts on a body, rotating with uniform velocity in a circle, along the radius away from the centre.

What is oblique projectile ?

Answer:- If a body is projected at a certain angle with the horizontal or vertical then the body is called an oblique projectile.

Intensity of the wave ?

Answer:- When a wave propagates in a medium, then energy is transmitted from one place to another. The amount of energy flowing per unit time through unit area perpendicular to the direction of the wave propagation is called the intensity of the wave.

Archimede's Principle ?

Principle:- ‘‘Whenever a body is immersed, wholly or partly, in a fluid at rest it experiences an upward thrust called buoyant force & loses his weight equal to the weight of fluid displaced by its immersed part.’’

How refrigerator work ?

Image
Answer:- In every refrigerator their is a liquid present called refrigerant. The refrigerant passes through a expansion device which expand(cool) the refrigerant and convert the refrigerant into a gas. That gas absorb heat from the objects which are place in refrigerator for cooling. So the objects became cool. Then the gas pass through evaporation tube and go towards compresser. The compresser compresses the hot gas. Then the hot, compress gas passed through condenser pipe, and releases heat into the surrounding and convert  again into liquid refrigerant. This process occur reaptedly in refrigerator and the objects became convert into a cool object. This is the basic working principle of a refrigerator.

What is Cottrell precipitation ?

Answer:- Precipitation of lyophobic solution particles by electrophoresis is called Cottrell precipitation.

What is chemistry 🧪 ?

Answer:- Chemistry is a branch of science which deals with the study of the composition of matter and the chemical changes involved in it.

What is Limiting friction ?

Answer:- It is the maximum value of static friction. It acts when the objects in contact are at the verge of slipping. It is directly proportional to the normal reaction.

Effective nuclear charge ?

Answer :- The part of nuclear charge which is experienced by the outer most electron is known as effective nuclear charge.

Kepler's first law ?

Image
Answer:- According to Kepler's first law all planets are move around  the sun in an elliptical orbit.Sun is located at one of the foci of ellipse.

What is circle ⭕ ?

Answer:- Circle is defined as the locus of all the points having a fixed distance from a fixed point. Fixed distance=radius of circle Fixed point=centre of circle Equation of circle having centre at (a,b) and radius r is (x-a)²+(x-b)²=r²

What is Inductive effect ?

Answer:- The permanent displacement of the shared electron pairs in a carbon chain towards the more electronegative groups is known as the inductive effect.

What is Hydration energy ?

Image
Answer:- It is the amount of energy released when ionic substance is dissolved and it's constituent ions are hydrated or surrounded by water molecules.
