Dalton's law of partial pressure.

Answer:-
According to the kinetic theory of gases (which do not combine chemically) contains molecules of both gases which hit the walls of the vessel. The pressure of the gas is due to the bombardment of the molecules on the walls per unit area.Since the molecules do not exert any force of attraction on one another, the pressure exerted will be due to the hits of the molecules of each gas per unit area and total pressure will be the sum of these partial pressures. This is Dalton's law of partial pressure.
