Electromeric effect.

Answer:-
In case of compounds having a double or triple bond, the pair of π-electrons gets completely transferred to the more electronegative element under the influence of an attacking reagent.I.e complete transfer of a shared pair of electrons of a multiple bond to one of the bonded atoms under the influence  of the attacking reagent is known as the electromeric effect.
